1 medium yellow onion diced
1/2 stick butter or 1/4 c lard
2 cloves garlic
1 jalapeño diced
8 oz tomato sauce
2T chicken bullion
1.5 c rice
2.5 c water
1/4 tsp cumin
Pinch black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Warm butter or lard in large pan (make sure you have a lid)
Add rice and stir until rice turns opaque and some gets golden in color
Add onion, jalapeño and garlic and sauté on medium low until onion is translucent
Add tomato sauce and water then stir.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer and cover. Cook for 20-25minutes then turn off. Remove from heat and fluff with fork. Enjoy!
