leftover roll or bread dough (or reserve some intentionally)
oil
butter or jam

Directions:
Directions:
Fashion the leftover dough into round discs - size of your choosing
Heat oil, enough to fry the dough gods
Put dough god into oil, turn when browned
Take out when both sides are browned
Put on paper towel

Serve with butter, jam, powdered sugar - your choice

Dean loved these and called them dough gods. Others in the family refer to them as "frogs" but i always remember Dean calling them dough gods.
