4 Filet Mignon steaks about 6-8 oz. Each
Kosher Salt
Cookies Seasoning or some other favorite steak seasoning.

Directions:
Directions:
Remove the steaks from refrigerator and bring to room temperature. (Get the best meat you can find. We like the steaks from Sam’s or Costco).
Salt the steaks all over with the kosher salt and let sit for 30 minutes.
Rinse the steaks and season with Cookies Seasoning or your favorite seasoning.
Grill the steaks at hottest temperature for 4 minutes on each side.
Put the grilled steaks into a loose foil packet and let rest for 3 minutes.

You can tenderize and improve the flavor of other meats using this method— we have used on center cut pork chops and chicken.

We first discovered Cookies Seasoning when our grandson Bryce sold it as a fund raiser. We liked it so much, I tracked it down on Amazon. Since then, we always keep a big bottle on hand.
