1 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 Tablespoon grated orange zest
2 teaspoons orange extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups (1 oz) white chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a mixing bowl, beat first 3 ingredients at medium speed of an electric mixer until creamy. Add egg, orange zest, and orange extract, beating until blended.

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to sugar mixture, beating just until blended after each addition. Stir in chips. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto uncreased baking sheets.

Bake 10 - 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets 2 minutes; transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
