Apple Pie Recipe

I use a prepared Crust

7-9 apples depending on their size, sliced thin
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 butter, melted
I TBL lemon juice
2 TBL flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
I egg white
Sprinkle of granulated sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Slice apples
2. Stir together melted butter, flour, brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg
3. Stir into apples until they are coated evenly
4. Put apples into pie shell and top with top crust
5. Do white egg wash on top of crust
6. Sprinkle with granulated sugar
7. Vent top with knife
8. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes
9. Turn oven down to 350 and bake for another 35 minutes

(Tent with aluminum foil after pie gets a golden brown )
