1 cup Raisins
½ cup Bourbon
1 cup butter
2¼ cup sugar
5 eggs
3¼ cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1½ teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup Buttermilk
2 cups coarsely chopped Pecans
Glaze:
½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup butter
¼ cup whipping cream
½ cup Pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Combine raisins in Bourbon, stir well, cover and refrigerate for at least one hour. Cream butter gradually add sugars. beating well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition one at a time. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and nutmeg. Add to creamed mixture and buttermilk a little at a time, until all combined. Fold in Pecan and raisin mixture. Pour into greased and floured cake pan. Bake for 1½ hours. Remove from pan and pour glaze over cooled cake.
