6-8 med. potatoes
6-10 slices of bacon cooked and crumbled
3/4 c chopped onion
2 T flour
2 T sugar
1 - 1 1/2 t salt
1/2 t celery seed
3/4 c water
1/3 c vinegar
Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes with jackets on; drain and cool for 35-40 minutes.
Peel and slice or cube
Fry bacon until crisp and drain
Sauté onion in bacon drippings, then blend in flour, sugar, salt and celery seed.
Add water and vinegar
Cook over low heat, stirring until smooth and bubbly.
Remove from heat and stir into potatoes and bacon
Mix coating gently; coat all of it.
