1 cup butter
1 cup of brown sugar and 1cup of regular sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
2 1/2 cups of flour
2 1/2 cups of Quick Quaker Oats, ground in blender
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 ounces of Hersey bar , frozen and ground
12 ounces of semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Cream sugars with butter. Blend in eggs, soda, baking powder and vanilla. Slowly add flour and and ground oatmeal powder while mixing. Then add ground up Hersey bar and chocolate chips and mix. Roll into ping pong ball size and slightly flatten on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375º for 8-9 minutes.

This recipe is the famous food myth that a lady was charged $350 on her charge card when she asked for the recipe. She thought it was $3.50 and they wouldn’t remove the $350 from her charge card. She then gave away the recipe to everyone she knew for free! That was in the 80’s.
