3/4 c. Dark Kero Syrup
1/4 c maple syrup
4 eggs
4 T. butter melted
4 T. flour
1 c. packed brown sugar.
1/2 T. salt2 T. Bourbon
1 1/4c, chopped pecans
i unbaked pie crust
1/2 c. whole pecans for decoration

Preheat oven to 350º. Roll out pie shell, flute and put in the refrigerator while making the filling. Chop nuts and set aside. Put eggs in the mixer. Whip slightly. Add the Karo and maple syrups. Add the brown sugar. Blend well. Add the salt. melted butter and flour. Last add the bourbon and chopped nuts and mix well. Place the crust on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Pour mixture into the crust and decorate with the whole. Bake approximately 1 hour.
Test if the middle springs back when touched. If not leave a little longer. If the crust is getting too brown while baking use a pie cover or some foil around the rim. let sit at least 2 hours prior to serving so it can set. Cut very small pieces as it is very rich. Serve with whip cream or ice cream.
