4 slices of Bacon cut into Lardons
1/4 quarter of a whole onion diced
1/4 quarter cup of red green bell peppers diced(as much or little per personal preference)
1 can of Black Beans

1.) In a big skillet fry bacon until nearly finished
2.) Into skillet with bacon add onions and bell peppers and saute until soft
3.) Into skillet add Black Beans, mix thoroughly and heat until warm

This is my go to recipe to elevate a can of black beans easily. Flavor is fantastic and I will either serve it with white rice and grilled chicken/pork or use it in a burrito. I am not a huge fan of bell peppers but they do add a needed something to this dish. I substitute the fresh bell pepper with a couple tablespoons of dried bell peppers that I get at Penzeys.
