½ cup Crisco Shortening
2 cups Sugar
2 Eggs
4 tablespoons Buttermilk
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 cup very ripe Bananas, mashed
2 cups All Purpose Flour
2 teaspoon Vanilla
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 cup Pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together buttermilk and baking soda. Set aside.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add buttermilk mixture.
Add mashed bananas.
Add flour
Add Vanilla
Add salt.
Add cinnamon.
Fold in chopped pecans.
Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Pour mixture half full in pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.
