1 nine-inch deep dish pie shell
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper (can do mix of green and red for color)
3 green onions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup heavy cream
4 ounces chopped ham
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
6 large eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the crust for 5 mins and set aside. It's best if you prick the bottom with a fork before baking. Reduce temperature of oven to 350°F.
2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
3. Add 1/2 cup of chopped bell pepper (you can use a mix of green and red for color) and sauté until softened.
4. Add the thinly sliced green onions to the skillet and cook for a minute until they become tender.
5. Spread 1/2 of ham and 1/2 of cheese evenly in a nine-inch deep dish pie shell.
6. In a mixing bowl, whisk together 1 cup of heavy cream, 6 large eggs, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder until well combined.
7. Add in cooked vegetables to egg mixture.
8. Pour 1/2 the egg mixture over the ham and cheese in the pie shell. Repeat until all the ingredients are used.
9. Bake the quiche at 350°F for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
Allow the quiche to cool slightly before slicing and serving. Enjoy your delicious Western Omelet Quiche!
