2 C flour
1/2 t. salt
2 t. vanilla
1 C chopped nuts
1/2 C butter or margarine
1/2 C honey
1/2 C Crisco

Powdered sugar for rolling

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, Crisco, honey. Add flour, salt, and vanilla and mix well. Add nuts and form into balls. Bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while warm. Let cool and roll again.

These are a Christmas favorite from my grandmother...easy recipe with few ingredients and few steps. Since they look like snowballs, I usually put them in containers with snowmen or snowflakes and give them as small gifts.
