16 ounces elbow macaroni
1 cup diced yellow onion
1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
1 (15-ounce / 430g) can sweet corn, drained and rinsed
2 (10-ounce) cans diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:
1.Boil elbow macaroni for 2 minutes less than stated in package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water. Transfer to a 4 quart baking dish. (Rectangular is best.)

2.Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Add onions to a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Stirring constantly, about 10 minutes.

3.For chili mixture, add all remaining ingredients to the skillet and stir to combine.

4.Pour chili mixture over macaroni in baking dish and stir, until everything is completely incorporated. Cover with aluminum foil and bake 35 minutes.

5 Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
