2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 Tablespoons of butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup orange juice
1 cup of whole fresh cranberries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions:
Directions:
*Preheat oven to 350º.

*Grease a loaf pan.

*Mix together flour and baking soda.

*Cream the butter and sugar in a bow;. them beat om the egg and salt.

*Add the flour mixture top the sugar mixture, alternately with orange juice, mixing well.

*Fold in the cranberries and nuts.

*Pour mixture into the loaf pan and bake at 350º for one hour.

*Test with toothpick for doneness.

In November and December when grocery stores are selling cranberries in a bag, k purchase several bags and freeze them.
