2 - 12 oz.bags fresh cranberries
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup to 1 cup white or pkd.brown sugar
1\2 cup real maple syrup
1T. Fresh grated orange zest
Pinch of sea salt and fresh pepper
Opt: 2 ground seeded tangerines can be added for tangier sauce but may then need more sugar )

Directions:
Directions:
In medium saucepan add cranberries, sugars, juice and syrup. Boil gently/ stirring often for 10- 15 minutes until cranberries pop and sauce is thickened. Use a potato masher to crush berries. Taste and see if more sugar or maple syrup is needed- maybe 1/4 cup each)
Chill and serve with turkey or chicken or on chicken sandwiches.
