3 tbsp butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup sifted flour
2 eggs
dash of salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
6 peaches
Directions:

Cream butter
Add sugar and eggs; mix until blended
Stir in flour, baking powder and salt
Add vanilla
Put fruit in battered casserole dish
Pour batter on top
Bake at 350º for 45 to 50 minutes
