9" unbaked pie shell
Filling
2 eggs
1 15 oz. can of pure pumpkin
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
3/4 t, cinnamon
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/2 t. ground ginger
Topping
1 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 T. flour
1/2 t. cinnamon
2 T. cold butter

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425.º. Flute the pie shell in the pan and set aside. Whip eggs. Add to eggs the pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, salt, nutmeg, and milk until fully combined. Pour into the pie shell and bake 15 minuets. While that is cooking combine topping ingredients except for the chopped nuts Cut the cold butter into the mix with a pastry blender or cut through with two knives until well combined. Add the nuts and mix well.
When the pie is baked for the 15 min. remove from the oven and turn the heat down to 350º. Sprinkle the topping oven the pie and return to the oven for 30 min. until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool and refrigerate until serving time. Serve with either ice cream or whipped cream on the side.
