1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened
1/2 16-ounce package frozen dark sweet cherries, chopped
1 cup whipping cream
1 tablespoon powder sugar
1/8 teaspoon almond extract
1 6-ounce chocolate crumb or graham cracker pie crust

Directions:
Combine ice cream and cherries in large bowl just util blended.

Beat cream, powdered sugar and almond extract in medium bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until soft peaks form.

Spoon ice cream mixture into pie crust. Spread evenly with whipped cream mixture.

Freeze 1 hour or until firm. Let stand at room temperature 10 minutes before serving.
