24 c sliced pears
5 ½ c sugar
1 ½ c clear gel
2 ½ c cold water
5 c apple juice, white grape, or pear nectar
¾ c lemon juice
1 T cinnamon, optional
¾ tsp nutmeg, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, spices,and clear gel together in stock pot. Add water and apple juice. Cook until thick. Add lemon juice and pear slices. Heat. Put into quarts and water bath for 25 minutes.
