2 pkg. dry yeast
3/4 c. warm water
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
5 c. flour
1/4 c. shortening
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water. Add milk, 2 1/2 c. flour, shortening, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Blend 30 seconds on low speed, 2 minutes on medium speed.

Stir in 2 1/2 c. flour. Knead 5 minutes. Let rise for approximately an hour.

Bake at 425º for 30-35 minutes.
