Directions:
Gather ingredients. Before you begin cooking, put broccoli rabe in a pot full of water and wash thoroughly. Chop garlic, set aside. Cut thick stems off of broccoli rabe, set aside to dry.

Put about one-two tablespoons of oil in a pan. Start by cooking ground sausage and continue to break it up with a wooden spoon while it cooks. Then add garlic and add broccoli rabe (if using spinach, add spinach). Let it cook for a minute then add can of chicken broth. Cover and let simmer until sausage and broccoli rabe is fully cooked. Continue checking and breaking up sausage and mixing contents.

Boil water for pasta, salt your water, and add your pasta. Follow directions on the box to cook pasta.

When everything is cooked add about a handful of parmesan cheese and salt/pepper to taste and mix.

Put pasta into bowl and then add sausage broccoli rabe mix to bowl.

Enjoy.
