⅔ c. Sugar
½ t. salt
1 c. shortening
12 T. Butter, softened
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
½ t. almond
4 c. cake flour
Sprinkles

Vanilla Buttercream
8 oz butter, softened
3 c. powdered sugar
1 T vanilla
½ t. almond
Pinch of salt

Chocolate Buttercream
12 T butter, softened
4 ⅔ c. powdered sugar
1 ½ c. unsweetened cocoa powder
⅔ c. milk
2 t. vanilla
½ t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat to 375º.

Beat sugar, salt, shortening, and butter until fluffy.

Add egg and extracts and beat until thick. Stir in the flour just until a dough forms (it may still be in chunks). Drop by 1T scoop (or rounded 2 t scoop), roll in sprinkles. Then press down with your thumb in middle. Chill on sheet for 10 minutes.

Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden browned on the bottom. Move to wire rack to cool.
