"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Melt butter into large deep skillet and sauté onions until softened. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain the meat. While it's draining, add the remaining ingredients into the sauce pain and mix well. Return the browned ground beef to the pan and bring everything to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until until sauce thickens. Keep a close eye so it doesn't dry out or burn.

Personal Notes:
Growing up, mom would make Sloppy Joe and serve open faced on hamburger buns with a slice of cheese and broiled for about 5 minutes (until the cheese got bubbly and a little brown!!)
