Ingredients:  
1 large can (1pound plus 14 ounces) purple plums, save juice.
¼ cup orange juice
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
Topping:
1½ cups biscuit mix
½ cup milk
2 Tablespoons melted butter
2 Tablespoons brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Drain juice from plums and save. Remove seeds from the plums and discard. Place Plums in the bottom of greased baking dish. Take orange juice and plum juice and pour into a saucepan. Add mixture of sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon into the saucepan with the juice. Cook until thickened. Pour over plums. Bake in a hot oven at 400º until bubbly. Mix biscuit mix and milk in a bowl. Spoon dough in small mounds over the hot bubbly fruit, drizzle mixture of butter and brown sugar over tops of dough. Bake 15 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
