5 slices of toasted bread - broken into small pieces
3 eggs - (slightly beaten)
½ cup sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoon butter, melted
2 cup milk

Topping:
1 cup milk
½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 teaspoon butter
2 teaspoon vanilla
2 drops yellow food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place bread in bottom of pan. Mix remaining ingredients in bowl. Pour over bread. Bake 15 minutes.
2. Cook topping ingredients in saucepan until thickened. Pour over baked pudding and serve.
