2 lb. Meat
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 12 oz. can tomato paste
2 28 oz. Cans tomatoes
2 15 oz. Cans tomato sauce
2 C water
3 T Italian seasoning, ground in your hands
3 T dried basil, ground in your hands
2 bay leaves
1 tsp salt
Black pepper to taste

Directions:
Brown meat in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions and continue cooking, stirring until onions are softened. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, and tomato sauce. Mix in the spices. Add water as needed to your desired consistency, and simmer on low for at least an hour. I usually let it simmer for 2-3 hours.
