1/4 lb butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 large egg
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cup flour (sifted)
pinch of salt
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
6 oz chocolate chips

Frosting:
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees (400 degrees if using metal pan)
Grease 8x8 pan
Cream butter and sugar and add vanilla. Add egg and mix well. Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Add milk alternately with flour mix to the creamed mixture. Add chips. Bake for 30 minutes.

Mix ingredients for frosting while cake is baking. While cake is hot, poke holes in top and pour over. Let cake cool.
