1 lb. Cabbage, coarsely cut
1 tbsp. Chopped Onion
1/8 tsp. Pepper
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Caraway Seed
4 c. Water
2 Large Potatoes, cubed
1/4 c. Bacon or Pork Drippings
4 tbsp. Browned Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Add onion, seasonings and water to cabbage, and cook for 10 minutes. Add Potatoe, cook until tender. Mix pork drippings and flour and brown to color desired. Add to soup.

This recipe for cabbage soup is 125 years old, Mrs Sophia Ksychi, of Chicago, writes. Her mother brought it from Poland, and it had been handed down from her mother. Mrs. Ksychi sent the recipe for Mrs. Rober Morgan of Buffalo. N.J.
