3 tsp tinned apples per pastry, lined
Shortcrust pastry, cut into 5 rectangles.
1 egg, beaten up for glazing

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat deep fryer at 170C.
2. Cut the pastry into 5 rectangle strips.
3. Spoon 3 amounts of tinned apples onto the pastry.
4. Fold the end of the pastry to the top.
5. Fork the sides and press with the index finger.
6. Brush the tops with the egg.
7. Deep fry for 3 minutes.
