Cannoli shells (see recipe index)

Filling:
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsps. freshly grated lime zest
4 Tbsps. bottled key lime juice or 5T. fresh lime juice
1 cup mascarpone cheese

Directions:

In a bowl with an electric mixer, beat cream cheese with sugar, zest and lime juice until smooth and beat in mascarpone. Chill filling, covered, until firm, at least 4 hours.

I made these cannoli’s for Lauren’s High School Graduation Party held in Carolina Beach. We just used Mom’s cannoli shells. They were delicious. The recipe courtesy of Epicurious. The actual recipe calls for coconut shells and a Mango Salsa, if you’d like to check it out.
