10 LB's of Apples (your choice)
1 to 2 cups sugar (Patara uses 2)
1/2 cup Cinnamon Red Hots
2 sticks cinnamon
2 tsp cloves-whole
1 tsp ginger
2 cups water
1½ cups white vinegar
2/3 cup light corn syrup

Directions:
Directions:
1) Peel & core apples
2) Cut apples into eighths
3) Mix other ingredients in a large pot & boil
4) Add apple wedges to syrup mixture & lightly simmer
5) Pack hot apples & syrup into hot pint jars
6) Leave 1/2 inch headspace
7) Remove air bubbles
8) Clean rims with vinegar before placing lids & rings
9) Process 15 minutes in a boiling-water canner
