Beer Batter:

1 cup Flour

2 Tbsp cornstarch

1 tsp cayenne pepper (not required)

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup beer

1 egg

White Sauce:

1/2 cup plain yogurt

1/2 cup Mayo

1 lime, juiced

1 jalapeno, minced

1 tsp minced capers

1 tsp cayenne pepper

1/2 tsp oregano

1/2 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp dried dill

Fish Tacos:

Olive oil cooking spray

1 pound cod fillet, cut into small portions

Flour

Fajita size flour tortillas

shredded cabbage

Make beer batter: Combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, cayenne, and salt in a large bowl. Blend beer and egg in a separate bowl and then quickly stir into flour mixture until combined with a few lumps remaining

Make white sauce: Mix yogurt and mayo in a medium bowl. Gradually stir in lemon juice until slightly runny. Season with jalapeno, capers, cayenne, oregano, cumin and dill

Spray the inside of the air fryer with olive oil spray. Preheat Air Fryer at 400 degrees for 10 min

Dust fish pieces lightly with flour. Dip fish pieces into beer batter

Place half of cod pieces in an even layer in fry basket, leaving space between pieces. Cook until golden brown and fish flakes easily with a fork, 8 to 10 minutes, carefully flipping halfway through cooking time. Transfer to a plate; loosely cover with aluminum foil, and keep warm. Repeat procedure with remaining cod pieces.

Place fish in tortillas. top with cabbage and white sauce
