2 lbs apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 C sugar
1 Tbs flour
4 Tbs butter
1 Tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
2 9-inch pie shells

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º

Place pie crust in pie plate. In large bowl, put flour over apples and toss. Pour apples into pie crust. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg together. Pour sugar mixture over apples. Dot apples with butter cut into 4 or 5 pieces. Top with second pie shell.

Place pie plate on baking sheet. Bake 1 hour on bottom rack.

Allow to cool on wire rack.
