Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 c. basmati rice
salt
garlic powder
⅓ c. oil
dill (dry dill spreads better)
boiling water, to cover

Directions:
Directions:
Check and rinse the rice and place in a 9x13 pan.
Add salt, garlic powder, oil, and dill.
Cover with enough water to cover the rice about 1½ inches and place it in the oven at 400º F uncovered.
When there is no water left, take out the pan, fluff the rice, cover it, and put it back in until it's fully cooked, about 30 minutes.
You can skip the dill for plain rice or replace it with craisins, slivered almonds, and fried onions.
