Rum Bars Recipe

1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
3 eggs
1 3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup coconut
1 1/2 cup walnuts
3 tbl flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup butter
3 cups confectioners sugar
Enough rum for spreading consistency

Cream together butter, brown sugar and flour.
Press into greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake 350 for 12 - 15 min.
Beat eggs, brown sugar, flour, baking powder, vanilla. Add coconut and walnuts.
Bake 20 - 30 min @ 350.
Mix together butter, confectioners sugar and rum to make frosting. Spread over cake.
