1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c . butter
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. dry oatmeal
2 1/4 c. flour
1 t. soda
1 c. ground raisins
1/8 t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Stir in eggs and then the raisins. Add soda and salt to oatmeal and flour. Mix all together. Roll into small balls and flatten with palm of hand. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degree oven.

Another recipe acquired from Selma Gelle. Selma always had cookies on hand. It was Selma that gave Blair the antique youth rocker which we fixed and refinished. She found it in the garbage storage area of the apartment buildings she lived in. What a find!
