2 lbs. asparagus, stalks trimmed
3/4 cup heavy cream
3 cloves garlic, minced
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 cup grated Parmesan
1 cup shredded mozzarella
Red pepper flakes for garnish (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°. Place asparagus in a 9 x 13” baking dish and pour over heavy cream and scatter with garlic. Generously season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with Parmesan, mozzarella and red pepper flakes if using. Bake until cheese is golden, and melty and asparagus is tender, about 25 to 30 minutes, and serve. Serves 6.

This recipe is delicious and easy. I made it, for the first time, at Mom & Homer’s, along with prime rib and popovers (see recipe index). Kristen was dining with us as well. A delicious dinner was had by all.
