Directions:
Cut jalapeños in half length wise and remove seeds; set aside

In a small bowl, beat cheeses until blended. Spoon into pepper halves. Wrap a half-strip of bacon around each pepper half.

I usually double the cheddar cheese, but that's up to you.

Combine brown sugar and chili season; coat peppers with sugar mixture. Place in a greased 15x10x1-inch baking pan.

Bake at 350º until bacon in firm, 18 to 20 minutes.

Personal Notes:
I found this recipe on line from Taste Of Home in October 2018.

The first time I made them was for Football Sunday. They were a hit, definitely a keeper.

When I make these, I do use the vinyl, disposable gloves when working with the jalapeños and definitely with removing the seeds.

I spray a baking rack with oil and place it on the baking pan that I line with a piece of parchment paper and place the poppers on the rack. This is to get the bacon to cook thoroughly.

Enjoy!! We definitely do!!
