2 C brown sugar
1 1/2 cubes butter
1/2 C corn syrup
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 bags corn puffs (can use popcorn instead)

Directions:
Directions:
Bring brown sugar, butter and corn syrup to a boil in a large sauce pan over medium heat and boil for 5 minutes, stir using a wooden spoon. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and soda. It will get foamy. put corn puffs (or popcorn into a very large bowl. I put in half, pour half the mixture over and stir to coat well, then add the other bag and repeat with the rest of the carmel mixture. Stir until evenly coated. You can add one cup of cooked peanuts to the mix. Spread out evenly over two greased cookie sheets and bake on 200º for one hour. Take out of oven every 15 minutes, put it back in the bowl, stir it well, then put back on sheet and back into the oven.
