1 clove of garlic…
1 small can of tomato paste and 4 cans of water…
S & P…
3 T Italian parsley, chopped…
2 t of sugar…
1/4 cup of olive oil…

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the olive oil in a small pot …
When hot add the chopped garlic…
Stir garlic 30 seconds, add the tomato paste and 4 cans of water…
Add the S&P, the clams and their juices, parsley and sugar…
Stir well, bring to. Simmer, stir well…
Turn down heat and stir the sauce every 5 minutes for 40 minutes…
This step makes sure all ingredients are well blended…

I always stay near by while it cooks, this step also thickens the sauce some…
Serve over your favorite pasta.

I serve it with a fresh salad of lettuce, tomatoes, onions and croutons…
Use olive oil and vinegar or your favorite Italian dressing…put on dressing just prior to serving!
I make the salad before I start the sauce. Just put it in fridge and serve it before or after the meal, I serve it with shrimp scampi and a crusty bread…
