1/3 cup melted butter or margarine
1 1/2 cup graham wafer crumbs - use Gluten Free if desired

1 1/2 - 2 cups chocolate chips Combination of milk and semi-sweet
1 cup cocoanut
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 can eagle brand milk

Pre-heat oven to 300'F Line baking dish with parchment paper.
Combined butter and crumbs and press into a pan 7 X 11 or 9 X 9
Sprinkle a good cup of chips over crumbs.
Sprinkle cocoanut and then nuts.
Spread eagle brand evenly over the top - ensuring that you get to the edges and corners.
Sprinkle with more chips and gently press into milk.
Bake 25 min. and check.
The edges should just start to turn a light brown. Your may need 5 minutes more - but do no overbake or squares will be dry.
Chill before cutting.
I like to make at least a day ahead, so they have time to get moist.

I use an old pyrex baking dish but the size of pan determines the thickness of squares.
I sometimes substitute a can of homemade eagle brand and it works fine.
This is easy to make Gluten free with GF graham crumbs.
