Ingredients: 1/3 cup melted butter or margarine 1 1/2 cup graham wafer crumbs - use Gluten Free if desired
1 1/2 - 2 cups chocolate chips Combination of milk and semi-sweet 1 cup cocoanut 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts 1 can eagle brand milk

Directions:Pre-heat oven to 300'F Line baking dish with parchment paper. Combined butter and crumbs and press into a pan 7 X 11 or 9 X 9 Sprinkle a good cup of chips over crumbs. Sprinkle cocoanut and then nuts. Spread eagle brand evenly over the top - ensuring that you get to the edges and corners. Sprinkle with more chips and gently press into milk. Bake 25 min. and check. The edges should just start to turn a light brown. Your may need 5 minutes more - but do no overbake or squares will be dry. Chill before cutting. I like to make at least a day ahead, so they have time to get moist. |

Notes: I use an old pyrex baking dish but the size of pan determines the thickness of squares. I sometimes substitute a can of homemade eagle brand and it works fine. This is easy to make Gluten free with GF graham crumbs.
