2 cups sugar
1/2 lb Butter
1/2 lb margerine
8 eggs
4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup vanilla ice cream - let come to room temperature

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour tube cake pan.


Sift flour and baking powder together three times. Cream butter, margarine and sugar together for 10 minutes. Add eggs to butter and sugar, one at a time. Add flour mixture, alternating with ice cream.

Place in cake pan and cook for 1 and ½ hours. Remove from pan when cool.
