¼ c honey or brown sugar
¾ c canned pumpkin
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
Dash ginger, nutmeg, cloves
1 qt vanilla ice cream
⅓ c chopped pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Combine honey, pumpkin, spices and salt. Bring just to boiling, stirring constantly. Cool. Beat in softened ice cream and nuts. Spoon into baked pie shell. Freeze. Trim with whipped cream and pecan halves, if desired.

Seems to me, gramma made this recipe sometimes. I remember asking her for her frozen pumpkin pie recipe but she couldn't remember which one she had made. But I know it was delicious.
