"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Pa made these very often. She would bake these and mail to Andrew when he moved to Chicago. This recipe is exactly as she wrote it down for Aunt Jean. You will have to mix as you are led to from your skills of baking. In most of her recipes, she is not very specific on directions.

I would cream the butter and sugar until fluffy, then adding eggs one at a time, beating after every egg. then possibly just stirring in the remainder of the ingredients

Remember Pa had 5 children so this served as a great treat for them.
