2 tablespoon vegetable oil
3 pounds broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
1 can (10.5 ounce) Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup
1/4 teaspoon each pepper and dried thyme (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In skillet over medium heat and in hot oil; cook chicken 10 minutes or until browned on all sides. Spoon off fat.

Stir in soup, pepper, and thyme. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 35 minutes or until chicken is fork-tender, stirring occasionally.
