1/4 c. butter
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced (or 1 can, chopped)
1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
1/2 c. flour
6 c. chicken or turkey broth (4 cans)
2 c. precooked Wild Rice
1/2 t. curry powder
1/2 t. dry mustard
1/4 t. white pepper
2 c. half-and-half
Chopped parsley or chives

Directions:
Directions:
In huge sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion. Cook and stir about 5 minutes or until golden. Add mushrooms and celery. Cook and stir 2 minutes. Mix in flour.
Gradually add broth, stirring constantly for 5 to 8 minutes until slightl thickened. Stir in rice, salt, curry powder, dry mustard and pepper. Reduce heat to low. Stir in half-and-half. Bring to simmer and stir occasionally. Ladle into individual bowls and garnish with parsley or chives.
