Italian Style Salisbury Steak Recipe

½ C Italian style seasoned bread crumbs
1 lb ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
salt, pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
olive oil
1 14 oz can diced Italian tomatoes, undrained (can use regular)
1 small can tomato sauce
grated Mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, gently mix together the crumbs and grown beef. Mix in the egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Shape into 4 plump oval meat patties.

In a skillet, brown the patties on both sides in oil. Drain fat.

Mix the tomato sauce and tomatoes and pour over the meat patties, cover.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes.

To serve, spoon sauce over meat, sprinkle with cheese.
