1 c butter or margarine
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
1 egg slightly beaten
2 c all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 c chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar, egg, flour, soda,salt, flavoring and nuts. Forn in rolls, chill and slice. Bake in hot oven 400 degrees. For a variety, flavor with nutmeg or cinnamon.
