2 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups flour
2 cups quick oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
3 tbsp boiling or hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, and eggs. Combine flour, salt, cinnamon and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture. Add quick oats. Add soda to hot water and add to batter. Mix thoroughly. Drop batter by teaspoon. Bake 7-10 minutes at 350. Put filling between 2 cookies once cool.

Filling: Cream 1/2 cup butter and 2 cups icing sugar. Add 1 cup marshmallow creme, 1 tsp vanilla, and 3-4 tsp milk.
Or substitute cream cheese for marshmallow creme. Yum!
